Curved ceilings, wood floors, an advanced lighting and sound system, customizable stage/seating configurations and a variety of eco-friendly sustainable-building features signal a thoroughly modern facility. Free on-site parking for autos and bicycles is augmented by additional spaces throughout the downtown area.

Special Rental Rates, November and December
In addition to grand opening festivities, the armory will be available at no cost to Brighton nonprofit organizations for meetings, seminars and performances during the month of November. During December, standard rental rates will apply but labor and incidental costs will be waived. Contact Helen Rodriquez, operations manager, (303) 655-2026.

The atrium provides an airy, sunlit backdrop for upscale, intimate gatherings. The space is 2,102 square feet with easy access to the Armory’s restroom facilities and box office.

The main auditorium’s 3,549 square feet can be configured as an open pavilion or a seated audience of up to 300 for plays and other productions. A movable stage accommodates various seating configurations :

• 25’ x 31’ stage
• 36’ x 16’ stage
• 12’ x 24’ stage
• 16’ x 24’ theater-in-the-round

The auditorium is equipped with state-of-the-art theater equipment, lighting and sound systems, a curved ceiling and wood floor. Lower-level dressing rooms have direct stairway access to the stage. An ADA-compliant star dressing room is located off stage.

On the second floor, a generously proportioned community room hosts art workshops, receptions, gatherings for nonprofit organizations and other small-group events. It can comfortably seat 40, and includes a projector, screen and kitchenette for refreshments. Elevator access.

With an informal turf seating area, mature trees and an attractive sculpture, the outdoor stage is ideal for summer performances and small gatherings. A promenade leads visitors to the new Brighton Library.
